Dr Ade Adebajo leads on implementation of the CLAHRC PPI strategy which has been agreed in collaboration with the South Yorkshire Comprehensive Local Research Network and Yorkshire & the Humber Research Design Service. In addition to this role in the Core Team, Ade is a member of the UCHD team and also works with other implementation groups and themes across the CLAHRC.
Ade is a consultant rheumatologist as well as being heavily involved in Research and Education. For many years he has been involved in patient and public engagement for the Arthritis Research Campaign and is currently a board member of the Arthritis Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA) as well as the Department of Health and IHR INVOLVE (a not-for-profit organisation of public participation specialists).
