Mark’s dry powder inhaler concept featured in Med-Tech magazine 29/08/2013

A concept for a dry powder inhaler developed by Mark Fisher is  featured in this month’s issue of Med-Tech Innovation magazine – a leading publication for medical device, research, design and innovation. The article, in ‘News from the universities’ (page 4), highlights the background to the idea and key benefits of the product which was developed during Mark’s MA study at Sheffield Hallam University.

Mark is now looking to make a proof of concept prototype which will require micro-polymer manufacture – contacts or suggestion that could help with this are welcome (contact us ). The next step will then be a cascade impactor test to measure effectiveness of the delivery system.
