BOSOP poster wins award 18/12/2010

Matt recently presented a BOSOP poster as part of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust’s Professional Services Quality Initiative Event 2010. The poster shows some of the projects completed as part of the BOSOP work and highlights three elements of particular interest to the audience which was made up of health professionals from disciplines such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and  Chaplaincy. The poster also illustrates  how design played a part via the use of the Experience Based Design (EBD) methodology. The three projects shown are the theatre event with Dead Earnest, the patient appointment letter, and the wayfinding/mapping of the Outpatients Department.

The poster won the overall prize for best poster in the show, with high praise from the participants. A few feedback comments:

“Presented in an engaging, informative and inspiring way.”

“Clear improvement for patients”

“Brilliant layout – great idea”

“Impact that this could have across the organisation is huge”

“Will look at implementing results for us”
